With Picnic in the Park, Event Essentials strives to create more than an event, but an experience. This one-of-a-kind celebration has taken us on a tour of Madison’s beautiful parks, from Tenney Park in its inaugural year, to Hoyt Park, Olbrich Park and beyond.
Building a Legacy
With this event, the Madison Parks Foundation celebrates the remarkable history of the individuals who set the stage for our parks as we know them today. Our hope is to follow their lead by educating those about history, advocating for the neighborhoods and embracing projects that make a positive impact on our residents, ultimately creating a new legacy for the future.
